Whether you’re 25 or 55, It’s Never Too Late

to begin your retirement journey.

In The Four-Minute Retirement Plan, I describe core values as a set of principles we develop as children. I believe they are the best place to start your retirement journey, because they help identify inspiring goals. Then, you can achieve anything you want to financially, if you commit to following a set of best practices that personally makes sense to you.

Three of my core values are family, creativity, and financial security.

I grew up with grandparents who taught me financial tips early in my childhood. Many of those lessons stuck, and I think they inspired me to become a money manager.

Today, I live in Orange County, California with my wife, Jennifer, and our sons Nicholas and Zachary. I’m a graduate of Georgetown University, a Chartered Financial Analyst, and I am the founder and President of Silverlight Asset Management, LLC. I also write for Forbes and RealClearMarkets.

If you would like a second opinion on your financial plan, I’d love to chat about your core values and help you link them to your future goals.
